Description
For a major international rail infrastructure project, we are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager OCS (m/f/d) with a strong background in High-Speed Rail Overhead Contact Systems (OCS).
This is a key position within a large-scale railway project where technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on construction experience are equally important.

Start: July 2026
Duration: 12 months with strong extension potential

You will join a large international railway project involving multiple international contractors, local subcontractors, engineering teams, and client representatives.
The successful candidate will act as the technical authority on site for all OCS-related construction activities and will be responsible for ensuring that installation works are executed according to project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.
This role requires a professional who can effectively manage contractors while also possessing the technical credibility necessary to lead discussions and resolve complex construction issues in the field.
Responsibilities
- Overall site supervision of OCS / catenary installation activities
- Technical coordination of subcontractors and construction partners
- Monitoring construction quality, safety, progress, and compliance with project requirements
- Managing daily site activities across multiple work fronts
- Providing technical guidance and support to construction teams
- Coordinating interfaces between engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning teams
- Reviewing installation methods and ensuring adherence to approved procedures
- Identifying and resolving construction-related issues on site
- Reporting progress, risks, and mitigation measures to project management
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Extensive experience as Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Senior Supervisor within railway electrification projects
- Proven hands-on experience with High-Speed Rail OCS / Catenary Systems
- Demonstrated experience supervising OCS installation works on major railway projects
- Strong leadership and contractor management skills
- Ability to operate in an international, multicultural construction environment
- Fluent English communication skills
Important Note
This role is specifically focused on High-Speed Rail OCS construction.
Candidates with experience limited to:
Conventional rail electrification
Urban rail, metro, or tramway systems
Power transmission lines
General construction management without OCS expertise
will unfortunately not be considered.
