Writing for Slant is simple. When you submit a story, your work is edited and packaged for success by a skilled digital editor from one of New York's top newsrooms. Once your work is published, you take home 70% of the revenue from advertising on each of your stories, plain and simple.
If you're an emerging journalist, this is a chance to build your portfolio of professionally published work. If you already have experience writing for online news outlets, Slant is an opportunity to hone your craft, test new ideas on the open market, leverage your already-existing audience and social network, and find a home for the stories you truly believe in (even when your editors disagree).
