Front End Developer GEO/GIS
A Front End Developer GEO/GIS is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative freelance assignment with
a market leading client based in Utrecht.
The Front End Developer GEO/GIS will IDEALLY have 70%+ of the following skills and experience:
* Strong experience in the GEO/GIS domain.
* HTML5
* Javascript, CSS3 and Scripting libraries as Jquery
* Good experience of developing Web Applications and Web Services with ASP.NET, C#
* Unit and Integration testing
* Visual Studio 2017 and Team Foundation Server 2017 'Nice to have'
* Continuous Integration and Deployment 'Nice to have'
* ASP.NET Core (Web API) 'Nice to have'
* ArcGIS platform, Knowledge of ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS GeoEvent Server and the ArcGIS Javascript API. Knowledge of open GEO standards as OGC - 'Nice to have'
* Agile/Scrum
* English speaker, Dutch speakers strongly preferred
The Front End Developer GEO/GIS will be responsible for activities including:
* Design, create and describe (parts of) systems to help in the provision of information;
* Test and implement system designs by checking the operation of systems in accordance with tests
* Analyse and solve faults/production disruptions in computer systems
* Draft instructions and provide knowledge transfer by drawing up and maintaining the work instructions of automated information functions
