Description
Front End Magento Theme Developer Required - This role is with one of the fastest growing online retailers in the UK. They are at a stage where most of the work they're doing in the next 6 months is around merchandising and e-commerce features for conversion rate and retention, so you'd be working at the coalface of this every day. They have a flat structure, so work is primarily project and objective based, over short sprints. This is initially a 3 month contract that definitely has scope to extend and will be based in their offices in Central London.Required Skills;
-Ability to hand-code standards-based HTML 5 and CSS 3 for cross-browser compatibility.
-Experience with HTML 5 & CSS 3 for responsive layouts
-Great working knowledge of Javascript and AJAX, and experience with frameworks like jQuery.
-Experience with git, svn, ticketing, documentation and bug tracking applications
-Worked on projects using Agile / Scrum methodology
Desirable Skills:
-Experience with Open Source PHP MVC OO frameworks like Symfony, Zend, Cake or CodeIgniter
-Experience with Magento as well as the ability to implement Magento themes and 3rd party plugins
