We are seeking a contract front-end dev to work on a client project for 6-12 months as well as several smaller client work projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Structure and implement Sass-based CSS framework
  • Integrate HTML / CSS into web applications
  • Assist UX designer with interpreting wireframes and designs into HTML
  • Assist back-end developers with integration and troubleshooting UI
Required Skills:
  • Languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Java, PHP
  • CSS Frameworks: Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Foundation
  • JavaScript Frameworks and Libraries: jQuery, Angular.js
  • Web Apps: Ruby on Rails, Flex, Adobe Air
  • CSS Preprocessor, etc: Sass (SCSS), Bourbon
  • Build/dev tools: Grunt, Yeoman, Compass, Bower, Node.js
  • SVN/Git Version Control
Familiarity:
  • Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Angular.js (and other JS app frameworks), PHP. 
  • Bonus points for Apache Flex.
  • Regularly use CSS frameworks/tools, including Bootstrap and Foundation
  • Regularly use front-end UI JavaScript libraries, especially jQuery
  • Experience working with back-end developers to build web apps
  • Working knowledge of current modern web development practices and tools
Experience-level:
  • 3+ years of professional HTML/CSS experience
