**Overview:**
Be part of a forward-thinking IT team within the Belgian railway sector, contributing to a sustainable and modern travel future. Your role will be instrumental in digitalizing and innovating the railway's commercial channels and products, ensuring a focus on enhancing passenger experiences and operational efficiency.

**Role:**
As a Business/Functional Analyst in the Commercial Channels & Products domain, you will be at the forefront of shaping our commercial strategies and offerings. You'll work in a dynamic environment, focusing on the development and enhancement of sales and after-sales solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our passengers and business.

**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and articulate their needs, translating these into actionable functional specifications and user stories.
- Engage in the full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering and feasibility analysis to user acceptance testing and post-implementation support.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications and ensure alignment with technical solutions, working closely with development teams.
- Lead the creation and execution of test plans and scenarios, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
- Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks, offering innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Present and communicate complex ideas and solutions to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.

**Requirements:**
- Proven expertise in business analysis, with a strong foundation in requirements gathering, process modeling, and use case development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business/functional analyst, preferably within IT domains.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, and proficiency in business process modeling and system design principles.
- Experience in relational databases, SQL, and basic programming concepts to facilitate effective communication with technical teams.
- Proficient in business technology tools (MS Office, Teams) and business process modeling (BPMN, UML).
- Knowledge in CMS technologies, API design, and experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies are valuable.
- Effective communication skills in Dutch, French, and English are essential to engage with our diverse team and stakeholders.
