Fund Accountant - Investment Bank - Edinburgh - Taxation - Qualified Accountant

PTS' Client a Leading Investment Bank in Edinburgh are looking for a Specialist Fund Accountant to p rovide leadership on tax & regulatory technical issues relating to life funds across the organisation. To help m anage operational client relationships and taxation service delivery for allocated clients and/or functions, ensuring that client requirements are met consistently and to m anage taxation deliveries for life funds across GS UK escalating delivery issues.

To help develop and maintain excellent relationships with taxation staff in client organisations and maintain open dialogue with clients to ensure awareness of their strategy and to allow proactive implementation of solutions to support this. Also to develop, manage and track life fund projects including risk analysis and contingency planning and liaise with and if necessary train the BAU CGT Team to implement changes arising from life fund projects.

The skills required are experience in a managerial role, working at management level in a fund administration or a similar environment, s ignificant experience of UK life fund taxation and a Qualified Accountant (ACMA/CA/ACCA) and/or Qualified Tax Accountant (ATT) preferred.
