Fund Accounting and Operations Oversight Manager - Asset Management - City
Our client is a leading name in Investment Management, providing Institutional, Retail and Alternative Investment products to a global client base. On their behalf we are looking for an Investment Operations Oversight Lead to work in their London headquarters.
The role will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day activities of the Investment Operations Team, comprising Investment Support and Fund Accounting, and the relationships with the Asset Servicing and Fund Administration, Prime Brokerage service providers.
The Investment Support Team is responsible for the oversight of and collaboration with external providers Custodians & Prime Brokers), providing analysis and resolution of breaks in the trade life cycle and for the integrity and accuracy of security and trade data flow between the firm and its providers.
In addition the Fund Accounting Team is responsible for the oversight of Fund Accounting practices by providing checking and oversight of price and NAV production and P&L. The team is also responsible for the calculation & monitoring of currency hedging trades.
We are looking for a self confident leader with a solid background of investment operations, comprehensive knowledge of the trade life cycle, knowledge of the pricing and valuation process preferable, although the emphasis of the role is on Investment Support rather than Fund Accounting.
Experience of managing and delivering operational change, team management skills and some knowledge of Front Office Order Generation terminology is sought.
