An exciting and rare job opportunity has opened for a Project Manager in Quebec City to lead a team of twenty to twenty-five in the development of a ground-breaking digital gaming concept. This leader will liaise between the development group and multiple stakeholders to create a web-based initial design and conduct beta-testing, identify ways to improve the design and ultimately present a proof of concept for approval.
The Project Manager will oversee a multi-discipline team of programmers, audio and video engineers, designers and artists. This dynamic team is comprised of developers who have worked with the top entities in Quebec's world-class video game industry. The development site is located in Quebec City and so bilingualism (English and French) will be a must-have skill.
The ideal candidate will be energetic and youthful, able to relate with this type-A personality team, while being a strong leader who can set firm guidelines and provide structure. A degree or comparable education as well as five years experience in overseeing strategic projects is a must. With the focus being on soft-skills, a technical background is not mandatory; however, an MBA and/or video game industry experience will certainly be considered an asset.
