Gas and Heating Engineer

Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with an ambitious housing group to find a number of talented and dedicated Gas and Heating engineers to join the team on a contract basis, covering certain customer areas, and delivering a reliable and robust service
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in a dynamic and progressive organisation. To succeed in this role you will be experienced in service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of domestic heating appliances.
The successful candidate will be familiar and have passed the following courses and tests:
. CENWAT1, CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
. CMDDA1, OFTEC OFT101, OFT105E, OFT600A in unvented hot water systems
. Strong Microsoft Office abilities
You will need to be capable of:
. Visiting homes and delivering excellent repair solutions
. Having reliable verbal and written communication skills, and be able to keep calm in potentially difficult situations
. Making routine and complex decisions using your expertise
In addition, you need to be willing to take part in the out of hours rota
Finally, you will need to have a full driving license, ability to drive a company vehicle and comply with the company Vehicle Handbook
