GIS Specialist
Brief Overview
Triad is working with a consultancy client in Southampton who provide services to a major UK authority. They are seeking a GIS Specialist to come in as a contractor for an initial 4-month period to help meet an important deadline. There is a good chance that this will extend.
We are seeking a GIS Graduate, or someone with a related degree that extensively used GIS throughout. Some commercial experience using GIS would be good, but we are happy to accept a graduate that can demonstrate relevant experience from academia. The client is an ESRI user. Therefore, experience of the ArcGIS suite is essential.
The role:
You will be required to manage multiple GIS data sets that come in a variety of different formats. This will likely be property data, asset data and infrastructure data. You will then analyse the data and identify any issues with the maps, perform data editing and cleansing to prepare the data for loading to ArcGIS Portal.
