One of our prestigious clients is currently looking for a Graduate DSP Engineer. You will be working on the latest wireless communication technologies, and to get you started in this dynamic role you will already have considerable knowledge of digital audio or digital communications and be able to demonstrate an interest and aptitude in wireless communications.

You will be part of an enthusiastic team of DSP Engineers working on mission critical radio products. Given the opportunity to support the design and implementation of new signal processing features, you will be comfortable in seeking support from your team members to promote your ideas and take ownership of your achievements.

A self-starter in pursuit of excellence in product design, you will have good knowledge of Signal Processing and experience in C programming, together with an appreciation of analogue and digital electronic hardware and how it interacts with software.

Your responsibilities:
Design and develop new signal processing solutions for our range of wireless communication products.
Design, implement and test software frameworks to support new wireless technologies.
Manage DSP S/W software releases to manufacturing.
Regression and integration testing of products.
Resolve design issues through innovation.

Your skills and personal attributes:
An active interest in digital audio or communication technologies with knowledge of Signal Processing.
Good knowledge of C programming language in real-time systems with some appreciation of software design and the debugging of hardware and software.
Familiarity of working in a PC and/or UNIX based environment.
Hardware appreciation and experience of working on the physical platform are welcomed but not essential.
Suitably qualified with a degree in Engineering desirable.
Enthusiasm and excellent communication skills to promote your ideas.
Be a team player who adopts a flexible approach to working within a team environment.
Experience and knowledge of propriety DSP devices, Matlab/Simulink and real-time operating systems is desirable but not essential.
Be available to undertake occasional travel within the UK and overseas
