The role
Our client is looking for a dynamic, diligent and organised graduate to come on board as the next Graduate Project Manager. The role will begin as a 6 month placement, resulting in a permanent contract as a permanent Graduate Project Manager if agreeable to both parties. This is a hybrid and varied position, with lots of room for growth and personal development!
Key Responsibilities
As the next Graduate Project Manager you will be supporting the activities of the more senior project managers with a view to becoming a fully-fledged project manager yourself!
As such, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Working alongside the established project management team to develop schedules, communicate with the team and identify pitch points and solutions
- Participate in regular update meetings to keep the whole team in the loop on individual projects
- Aid in the development of materials, production of specifications, identification of suitable suppliers and liaising with suppliers, clients and internal team in preparation for meetings
- Assisting the monitoring of the finances of a project - ie purchase orders, tracking finances and highlighting potential overspends
- Various administrative duties including making sure that databases are kept up to date
- Participating in client meetings
So what are we looking for?
- A minimum 2.1 - preferably in a science related discipline
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team - to take direction as well as own initiative as and when required
- An individual who is able to work efficiently under pressure
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills
- A professionally mature, diligent and versatile individual with the ability to multitask effectively and efficiently
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or a CRM is advantageous
