Group Capital Senior Actuarial Student - 6 months - Bristol - Good rates ASAPStrategy, Capital & Risk | Group Capital Team | Group Capital Senior Actuarial Student
Duties including, financial restructuring, Part VII court schemes or future M&A activity.
The team is predominantly involved in project work, and made up of mainly a blend of actuarial and project staff. A senior actuarial student is sought to bolster the team's capability across a number of projects as part of the ongoing optimisation of the business.
Accountabilities may include (but are not exclusive to);
Support the delivery of initiatives within the Group Capital team
Contribute to the delivery of Board reports and other related deliverables by;
o Sourcing data for the reports
o Calculating figures for inclusion in the reports
Support other Group Capital projects as they might arise
Develop process improvements to ensure the improved efficiency, timeliness and accuracy of future delivery
Team working with the reporting, legal and accounting teams to foster good team spirit and working environment
Specific skills & experience
Senior student with strong technical ability, including knowledge of UK regulatory environment
Motivated and able to work pro-actively
Well organised and confident to communicate with colleagues at more senior level
Track record of successfully improving analysis and processes
Ability to work in a dynamic cross-functional environment with colleagues from other professions
