Description

Role: Hardware Validation Engineer

Length: initially 6 months

Location: Remote work available and visits to Coventry

My client is currently in the processes of validating and qualifying a new controller for transmission applications, the role would involve supporting activities relating to the FuSa requirements of the product. Specifically supporting the analysis of the product against ISO26262.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of design compliance against requirements (Management of requirements database)
  • Support in generating deliverables of ISO262626 Part 5.
  • Support and lead the FMEA analysis on the product identifying validation requirements to ensure compliance to ISO26262 (Fault insertion, functional testing, etc)
    • Supporting metrics calculation
  • Support the team in creating traceability between the FMEA and FTA
  • Identification of design modification required as an output of the FMEA and implementation in Altium designer where required
  • Completion of fault insertion testing on the product.

Required experience:

  • Experience in ISO 26262
  • Experience in Hardware Design & Validation
  • Altium Experience
