Role: Hardware Validation Engineer
Length: initially 6 months
Location: Remote work available and visits to Coventry
My client is currently in the processes of validating and qualifying a new controller for transmission applications, the role would involve supporting activities relating to the FuSa requirements of the product. Specifically supporting the analysis of the product against ISO26262.
Responsibilities:
- Review of design compliance against requirements (Management of requirements database)
- Support in generating deliverables of ISO262626 Part 5.
- Support and lead the FMEA analysis on the product identifying validation requirements to ensure compliance to ISO26262 (Fault insertion, functional testing, etc)
- Supporting metrics calculation
- Support the team in creating traceability between the FMEA and FTA
- Identification of design modification required as an output of the FMEA and implementation in Altium designer where required
- Completion of fault insertion testing on the product.
Required experience:
- Experience in ISO 26262
- Experience in Hardware Design & Validation
- Altium Experience
