Our client a leading Central Government body are seeking a Head of Category Management/Head of Commercial for a rolling 4 month contract to be based in Nottingham but they would also consider Bristol for the right candidate.
Role: Head of Category Management/Head of Commercial
Salary: GBP Per day
Contract Length: 4 months rolling
Location: Ideally Nottingham but will consider Bristol with involve travel

Build and develop a commercial function which supports the organisation's development into an intelligent customer of services to support transitions.
Commercial leadership of early market engagement activity to test market viability, including developing effective market engagement mechanisms to enable such interaction whilst remaining within procurement parameters.
Leading on the development of commercial principles for each deal and ensuring their effective incorporation in service agreements.
To manage a portfolio of multifaceted commercial projects and commercial transactions

We have a need to deliver a number of portfolios of commercial activity - this person will be managing a pipeline of activity, managing stakeholders etc
Must be able to demonstrate:
- IT services portfolio
- Someone who has dealt with large projects previously
- Contract management
- Strategic vision Category approach: Full procurement process experience
- Change background and demonstrate driving change
- SEO level commercial
