Head of Product Design (UI/UX) (e- commerce £100,150k)
Our client is one of the worlds biggest eCommerce companies and is looking for an experienced head ux/ui designer who is all about finding new ways to improve the customers shopping experience. The team is divided into sections, user experience, insight and analytic and project management. You will be responsible for developing solid UX practises techniques and processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Being the head of the UX department, you'll be responsible for finding new opportunities for client roadmaps.
- Running workshops, design sprints, user interviews and testing is the foundation of how you work; drawing on your extensive knowledge of end-to-end product design.
- You have a keen understanding of the importance of accessibility, its integration into design and how UX copy and content fits into the scheme.
- Key design tools such as Figma are familiar to you, as are the fundamentals of design thinking and systems.
- Strong managerial skills; having supported and mentored teams.
The candidate
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, collaborating with stakeholders, product managers and development teams.
- Ability to support the creation of wireframes, interface mock-ups and user flows.
- UX design background working on various projects, ideally with UX research colleagues.
- Previous experience managing a team and owning a project from start to finish.
- Experience owning the full UX process, delivering successful digital products in for an E-commerce environment
