THE ROLE:
* Manage end to end talent cycle/review working with HR and business to complete talent activity for senior management (including South Africa, The Cayman Islands and Bermuda)
* Responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing appropriate talent solutions and processes in support of the business strategy, with a particular focus on systems and human capital reporting
Essential Experience/Knowledge:
* Functional Expertise - Successful track record of delivering talent interventions as part of a suite of HR interventions.
* Corporate Exposure - HR experience within fast-moving, complex and demanding corporate environments where operational HR issues have to be handled on a large scale and with a need to multi-task and deal with ambiguity.
* Operating in global markets - Experience of working at an operational level in international environments which drive a true international perspective. Commercial experience in different markets and cultures.
* Team Leadership - Experience of leading operational HR processes
* Managing Change - Experience of working within transformation and change programmes. Working with colleagues across the HR function to deliver talent agenda in context of restructuring and re-engineering, eg following mergers and acquisitions.
* Exposure to Corporate Governance - Experience of diverse regulatory frameworks in large multi-nationals.
* Commercial Awareness - Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the external environment, the competitive landscape and broad macro-economic trends and an awareness of the implications. Avoids becoming siloed, and thinks holistically about delivery of talent processes in framework of human capital and organizational culture.
* Consultancy Exposure - Exposure to leading consultancies that set stretch benchmarks.
