Description
A leading global insurance company is looking to recruit an IBA Accountant on a 6 month basis due to a restructure within finance and as a result of a number of projects arising. Working in the heart of the City of London you will be reporting to an IBA team leader and working in a team of 4 in IBA but sitting amongst a much larger team within finance.
In order to be considered you must have a minimum of 5 years IBA or credit control experience working in the insurance industry. You will be liaising extensively with the shared service team in India and therefore you must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and have a confident and assertive manner about you.
The main duties and skill set required is as follows:
reviewing the work of the IBA clerks in the shared service centre
Take responsibility for unmatched cash
Reconciliation of the IBA accounts
Dealing with any IBA queries from India
Handling unmatched cash reports and fund reports
Liaise with brokers
Dealing with all credit control
The successful candidate will be on shor notice however candidates on 4 weeks notice may be considered.
