Description

We are looking for an ICT Service Delivery Consultant with required expertise in design, implement, and operate 24/7 tailor-made and standardized ICT solutions, and ensures service management, technical consultancy and effective pre-, and after sales support in accordance with SLAs and/or contract.

This specific role is to work within the Datacenter Operations team

  • Deliver second level service support & delivery on the ICT Hosting infrastructure to ensure Customer SLA & Internal OLA measurements are achieved (emphasis P1 & 2)
  • Accepting customer projects into operations by checking they are built First Time Right according to industrialized standards, and to project specifications (also for custom projects).
  • On an as-needs basis provide expert consultancy to pre-sales to ensure industrialized infrastructure and service components are correctly used in design to meet customer requirements, for example Databases.
  • The support hours are between 07:00 and 22:00 Monday-Friday (for the majority of the time normal working hours apply) & start times can be flexible. Outside of these hours we provide a guard service (22:00-07:00 Monday-Friday & Weekends) which is staffed in rotation be team members,.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Operational support & delivery on all levels of the Datacenter platform
  • Accepting customer services into Operations & providing feedback when they are not first time right accepted (to avoid repeats)
  • Resolution of Incidents & Changes following standard ICT processes (standard & custom changes)
  • Network & security management (alongside network & security engineers)
  • Assist level 1 in knowledge mgmt. in order they can resolve incidents
  • Quarterly case feedback to Product Mgmt. - let them understand how their solutions are being used & what challenges their customers face
  • Interact with Customer Service Managers
  • Provide technical advice towards customers and colleagues in order to effectively inform them, and recommend the appropriate technical solution.
  • Develop, maintain and share technical expertise and customer specific information
  • Expected Profile:
  • Industrial engineer, or equivalent by experience
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience and expertise in:
  • VMWare ESX
  • VMWare center
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • DNS
  • Exchange
  • Azure Pack
  • Citrix (to 7.6) - desirable
  • Open Stack - good to have
  • Take initiative and systematically drive for results
  • Meet and exceed customers' expectations
  • Communicate efficiently and liaise actively at all levels with your customers/colleagues
  • Manage resources efficiently (people, time, budget, tasks, virtual teams)
