Description
The successful candidate will based in the client's Canberra office and will be required to perform the following.
- Build a Novell PlateSpin environment;
- Remediate Microsoft Hyper-V environment;
- Plan the migration of workloads from VMWare to Hyper-V;
- Provide capacity requirement to appropriate teams;
- Test the migration process;
- Liaise with vendors as required;
- Create and manage changes and liaise with business areas;
- Migrate server workloads; and
- Test the migration success.
To be successful your skills and experience will focus on the following;
- Microsoft Server 2012 Hyper-V R2;
- VMWare Vsphere v5:
- Novell PlateSpin;
- System Centre - SCOM, SCCM and Service Manager; and
- The migration of virtualized Servers to new platforms (VMWare and HyperV).
