Description
Urgent requirement for an ongoing finance transformation project in an international client based in Dublin. My client requires an independent contractor for an IFRS 16 project in a lead advisory role on best practice and compliance.

- Based in Dublin, some flexibility to be based in London may be possible

Role
- Act as the point of contact for clients on accounting matters and work in close cooperation with lease accountants
- Manage data flows out of Teradata for over 500 leases with 50 data points
- Lead a small team of analysts to format and consolidate lease data into IFRS format and feed to balance sheet structure
- Restructure historical actual data into new IFRS compliant format and update the reporting system
- Provide technical expertise on IFRS to understand and resolve queries on a wide range of complicated structures
- Act as bridge between group and the accounting team.
Skills
- Qualified accountant with relevant project experience.
- Knowledge of real estate investment or related industries, such as investment funds, construction etc. is a plus.
- Up to date technical accountancy knowledge, such as IFRS as related to property investment funds and companies.
- Strong IT skills - Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of EPM and OLAP/dimensional reporting systems an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/agenda.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
