Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IFS Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of IFS Applications/IFS Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ERP architecture, IFS modules, integrations, cloud technologies, and business process transformation while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities? Lead the design of IFS Applications/IFS Cloud solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Service Management, HR, and CRM modules.
? Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs aligned with IFS best practices.
? Develop end-to-end architecture documentation, integration maps, data flows, and configuration specifications.
? Evaluate customization requirements and recommend standardized or low-code/no-code solutions.
? Guide implementation teams throughout IFS implementations, upgrades, and cloud transformation projects.
? Oversee configuration and customization activities while ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards.
? Support data migration strategy, mapping, validation, and data quality initiatives.
? Design and support integrations with ERP, MES, CRM, EAM, WMS, and third-party applications using APIs, middleware, or IFS Connect.
? Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions with business stakeholders.
? Conduct impact analysis for enhancements, upgrades, and module expansions.
? Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, system optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
? Stay current with the latest IFS Cloud releases and recommend new capabilities and enhancements.
? Mentor technical teams and provide architectural guidance throughout project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience? 10–15+ years of experience implementing or architecting IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
? Expertise in one or more IFS modules such as Manufacturing, Projects, Service, Supply Chain, or Finance.
? Strong understanding of ERP architecture, data models, and configuration principles.
? Experience with IFS Connect, REST APIs, XML, middleware platforms, and enterprise integrations.
? Knowledge of cloud environments and deployment models.
? Strong understanding of business processes in Manufacturing, Project-based industries, Service Management, and Asset-intensive industries.
? Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.
? Experience leading stakeholder workshops and presenting architecture solutions to executive leadership.
? Strong leadership, analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to lead cross-functional technical and functional teams.
? Dutch language proficiency is preferred.
