A highly regarded Federal Government department based in Canberra is looking to engage an experienced Incident Manager to join their ICT team on an initial 5 month contract with possible extensions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to :

  • Manage the Incident Management process for Desktop Modernisation following ITIL.
  • Understand any incident and gather sufficient information to drive resolution
  • Manage the incident tracking system and team to provide timely reports on incident states
  • Work with the project team and stakeholders to communicate effectively the impacts of incidents and planned resolutions

To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in successfully managing incidents in Federal Government using ITIL.
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Produces documentation of high quality.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
