Description
Optimum Finance have an urgent requirement for candidates who have experience in Income & Proxy to join a global wealth management firm in Glasgow. The post holder will be heavily involved in monitoring and controlling income collection and Proxy Voting to ensure execution of related transactions, instructions and the collection of all monies.
Responsibilities:
- Act as front line point of contact for all Income & Proxy Voting related enquiries, establishing an excellent relationship with both internal and external customers.
- Monitor and resolve all enquiries raised by all customers, external and internal and provide technical advice and support to colleagues and other parties as required
- Monitor, investigate and resolve shortfalls/differences in due income and repo claims
- Control & monitor the receipt of all income and stock due from cash dividend re-investments ensuring there is minimum risk to the client
- Ensure investment accounting system is updated and internal pricing deadlines are met
- Complete Proxy documentation as required, in a timely manner & accurately, within departmental procedures.
- Control and monitor all income reconciliations ensuring they are investigated in a timely manner and within departmental procedures
- Control, monitor and assist with the liquidity accruals and month end reinvestments. Ensuring the Investment Accounting system is updated by the internal pricing deadlines
Experience required:
- Extensive working knowledge of securities markets
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent problem solving, communication and coaching skills are essential
- Coaching Skills
- Ability to work accurately to multiple and strict deadlines
