I am currently working with the client who is looking to bring in an interim who strong knowledge of the NHS and experience around the following:- Significant and relevant experience working as an information analyst
- Experience of manipulating databases
- Experience with complex NHS relational databases and NHS terminology
- Knowledge of health data sets, in particular NHS Commissioning Data Set
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce and present reports to audiences at all levels; ability to communicate highly technical information to a non-technical audience
- Delivery of high quality Information
- Provide advanced analysis, interpretation and presentation of complex data and information
- Supporting Managers on performance of various SLA by timely analysis
- Manage core datasets (e.g. compendium of clinical & health indicators, conceptions, mortality & births, vital statistics data and Patients at Risk of Rehospitalisation) to ensure robust information is collated for analysis
- Support for the development of KPIs for quality, safety, and patient experience.
- Provide Demand forecasting & Trend analysis
- Utilise technical skills (e.g. SQL) and/or statistical/epidemiological analysis to support routine and ad hoc information needs including data modelling, contract monitoring and forecasting
- Support the analysis required for Contract Challenges and provider performance management.
- Interpret and report on results of analysis verbally and in written reports
- Support the maintenance of the CSU's key operational systems for data quality E.G clinical coding completion, demographics, rules for responsible commissioner and user support.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
- SQL Skills
