Salary: £60,000 +

Security Architect, ISO 17799, NIST, Sarbanes Oxley, WLAN, WPA, VPN, Firewalls, CISSP/SSCP

In your position as the Information Security Architect you will be working for a very well known virtual computing solutions company with over 10,000 partners.

You will;

- Make critical contributions to help develop and identify the technology capability of the business.

- Work with customers to identify new requirements, create new integrated solutions to address them.

- Stay abreast of new developments and systems, help advise the organisation on ways to apply them.

- Facilitate problem solving and coordinate with internal and external customers

- Work to various specifications and standards insuring relevant issues are addressed

- Design departmental goals and visions working closely with the Information Security Manager

- Approve proposals to enhance or modify the functionality of intranets, servers, firewalls, databases and infrastructure

- Review information security policies, architectures, standards and other technical documents needed to advance security

- Help mentor and develop cross-training to members on security best practices

Skills and Qualifications

- CISSP/SSCP

- Proven business skills including, good written/oral communication., issue resolution, and meeting facilitation

- Minimum of 8 years IT security experience

- Excellent project management skills

- Experience in development of information security policies and intrusion response.

- Experience in administering operations of security infrastructure

- Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 17799 & Sarbanes Oxley.

- Good experience of Firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention products.

- Advanced knowledge of UNIX, Windows OS family, TCP/IP and networking technologies.

- Information Security Governance & Regulatory Compliance.
