Information Security Consultant, CISSP, CISM.
Information Security Consultant/Manager required to develop and implement business and regulatory aligned information security governance and risk management frameworks and associated processes.
The Security Consultant will identify, monitor, review progress technical operational security risks and issues.
- Identify technical information security risks and issues within the implemented services provided by to its stakeholders
- Assist in the design and agreement of information security risk mitigation plans
- Assist in defining the acceptable effectiveness measures for new technical information security controls
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls
- Meet regularly and work with IM services operational groups to progress mitigation of identified information security risks and the resolution of issues

- Self-starter, able to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
- Able to manage own deliverables within a team environment
- Extensive experience of working as an information security governance and risk management professional.
- Extensive experience reviewing and monitoring operational information security controls
- Experience of working within an ITIL Framework
- Experience of implementing and maintaining HMG security standards and regulations
- Experience and understanding of ISO27001 ISMS operation, maintenance and associated processes
- A recognised information security qualification- for example CISSP, CISM, CLAS, 27001 Lead Auditor
