Role: Information Security ManagerRate: € Daily Rate
Location: Dublin
Type: 3 month contract
A multi-national blue chip organisation based in Dublin is seeking an Information Security Manager for a 3 month period with possibility of extension.
Day-to-day:
- Manage and provide expert advice on the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of information security controls and management strategies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of information systems with legislation, regulation and relevant standards.
- Safeguard against data threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses and attacks by cyber-criminals.
- Maintain Information Security ISO certificate (ISO 27001) and work with the business to improve understanding of and adherence to data security requirements and policies.
- Provide input to RFPs, bids, client audits, business continuity planning, cloud-based supplier reviews in regard to data management and security.
Technical Requirements:
-Experience working with Architecture teams to define and document IT security standards
-Ability to objectively assess business risk, and subsequent mitigating action.
-Ability to prioritize and action both operational and project demands relating to Information Security
-The job holder will be able to work independently, with a degree of autonomy, however strong team working across Information security, IT and the Business is essential.
-The job holder must be able to demonstrate a methodical and disciplined approach to all aspects of the role.
The candidate is also required to have either a CISSP, CISM or CISA.
