Infrastructure developer/administrator AIX and SUN platform.
One of my Major clients in the Netherlands is urgently looking for Infrastructure developer/administrator AIX and SUN platform for a 3-6 month contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands
The person concerned will be used in management activities in the AIX and SUN platform. Activities relate to (independently) resolving incidents (24/7 by rotation schedule with other colleagues) and preventive action (such as patch releases, and maintenance) and common project work with Unix component.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar function/role.
Thorough knowledge of, and experience with, (a major part) of the following products:
AIX:
- IBM Power7 systems
- AIX 6.1
- VIO 2.2
- AIX Virtual I/O Server
- Upgrading the AIX operating system (NIM)
Sun Solaris:
- Solaris SPARC T5
- Solaris 10 and 11
- Oracle/Solaris Zones/Containers
- Oracle VM for SPARC (LDOMs)
- Upgrade of the Solaris operating system (Live Upgrade)
- Shell Scripting.
