Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit 3x IT Infrastructure Engineers for initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£350/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will be remote based for the foreseeable future.The Role:
The primary purpose of this Infrastructure Engineer role is to implement, manage, support and refine IT infrastructure solutions to support and enable the organisation's digital services.
Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure components to enable and subsequently deliver transfer of services between the organisation's existing on-premises datacentres and third-party co-location/cloud provider.
Implement Azure environments and on premise integration components for in development application solutions working with the organisation's Application Development partners and the organisation's internal Development team.
Support delivery of the organisation's Digital Workplace project including transition of fire shares to SharePoint Online and from Exchange 2016 on premises to Exchange Online.
Essential Skills:
You will have experience across the spectrum of IT Infrastructure services including Active Directory, Exchange, File Services, DNS, DHCP and networking.
You will have experience of engaging authoritatively and effectively with IT colleagues and external suppliers to devise and plan the required solutions, tasks and activities.
Experience in support/administration of Microsoft 365/Azure services including AAD, InTune, Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
Desirable Skills:
Experience of Microsoft 365 migration and design including Azure Active Directory and Identity services, SharePoint Online, One Drive for Business, Exchange Online and MS Security Services.
Experience in implementing MS Azure services and solutions, preferably including hybrid solutions with on-premises elements
