Our client is one of Australia's leading and largest Financial Services Organization that has expanded its operations beyond the Australian shores. The organization has a large range of financial offerings to both public and private clients across the retail, corporate and institutional banking areas. They have a very large technical footprint that combine a dynamic range of technologies in an ultimately, highly complex landscape.
This position sits within a large program management office, which consists of program managers, project managers, change managers, business analysts. The team is responsible for taking two line thought bubble concepts and engaging with senior stakeholders, scoping/designing solutions, defining project plans, overseeing implementation and ensuring timely delivery.
This is a standalone role that will require a personality who is capable of engaging stakeholders at the highest level of business, and then work with technical SMEs' to elicit requirements and take full control over all resources, relating to this highly complex platform expansion. Overall the project is looking to expand the capabilities of the existing infrastructure platform, though the introduction of a new stream. You will look to draw upon your extensive experience in infrastructure platform builds in highly complex environments and innovative use of technology.
Requirements of the role:
- 8+ years' experience in project management
- Formal qualifications in Project Management (PMP certified, Prince 2)
- A track record of delivering large infrastructure platform projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Extensive E2E Project experience (Initiation > Planning > Execution)
- Innovative approach to the utilization of technology
- Proven ability to manage/direct technology teams
- Functional knowledge of UNIX platform integration
- Understanding of data centers
- P-SERIES knowledge will be HIGHLY regarded
- Full working rights for Australia
