A Leading Service Provider is seeking 4 Telco focussed Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team, located in Docklands, on an initial 12 month fixed term hire contract.In this position, you will be able to take part in the largest Telco project ever undertaken in Australia!Your main responsibilities in this role will include the following:
- Receive Development requests from client, and to audit requests to ensure completeness of information provided and escalate any issues back to client/customer.
- Develop a resource model, bill of materials, and budget for the sub-phases and development
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure appropriate resources are scheduled and assigned to projects
- Develop and manage a project risk plan, and ensure mitigation activities are implemented as appropriate.
- Liaise with client, Developers, and Sub Contractors to ensure project commitments are met, and escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner through to resolution.
- Ensure project documentation and reporting is maintained
- Ensure QA are executed at appropriate milestones
- Strong background within the Teleco industry along with previous Infrastructure PM experience.
- Relevant experience in leadership, issue resolution project sizing and estimating, planning and scheduling, project control and project budgeting.
- Preferably experienced in managing external plant, civil engineering projects, or with Telco infrastructure experience.
- Experienced in managing sub-contractors and external suppliers with experience in Urban development projects, town planning, pit and pipe planning and construction is highly desirable.
- Ability to meet tight schedules and cost targets without compromising customer requirements.
- Ability to develop and foster relationship, particularly in Construction and teleco industries.
- Negotiation skills, High literacy and numeracy skills, Strong communication skills and Multi-Geography delivery
- Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Project Manager accreditation (ie PMBOK, PRINCE 2)
