Green Park are partnering with an insurance company who are looking for an Interim Chief Operating Officer.
The Interim Role
The Interim Chief Operating Officer role will suit a senior level executive who has experience working in a general insurance business for a number of years. The role will sit on the Executive team and contribute to the business strategy, whilst leading businesses operations.
This comprehensive role will have responsibility for the following:
- Managing the day to day operations to ensure all plans and activity are aligned to the broader business strategy
- Creating an environment that provides a high quality of output and efficiency, whilst at the same time keeping the customer at the heart of the operations in order to provide an outstanding experience
- Looking to areas of service enhancement and process improvements
- Working with the Board to look at new approaches and developments
- Ensuring all activities are delivered within the accepted risk appetite and ensuring the business area is working to the relevant control standards
The Interim Manager
The successful candidate will be able to display the following:
- In-depth knowledge of the GI market
- Managing a large team of people within an operational area
- Expert knowledge of the Regulatory agenda within insurance
- Managed and had ownership for a large budget
- Ideally been an approved person in the past but not essential
- A high level understanding of the challenges affecting the broader insurance market and the implications and opportunities available
