Description
Looking for a secure interim resource to work at a senior level within the communications team who will focus on developing a stakeholder management and insight plan and delivery.
Job roles include:
Assist with stakeholder survey procurement and delivery (planned to survey in October);
Assist in the set-up of in-house external insight group (not yet had first meeting but Terms of References agreed);
Provide support on the September NGO (Non- governmental organisation)forum meeting and interim preparations;
Support the production and planning future editions of new ONR News monthly e-newsletter;
Supporting internal communication and engagement about ONR stakeholder work, including establishing a staff stakeholder hub, staff briefing articles and new dedicated Intranet page;
Preparatory work for an Industry Meeting next year;
In addition, from a management perspective, candidates will be required to:
Work with the team to define their competencies for Competency Pay Progression, aligning all the personal objectives;
Lead team meetings to create better cohesion and address problems;
support the Head of Policy to bring together Policy & Communications into a single directorate;
Assess the resources in the team against the plan and identify risks/gaps.
Candidates must also have public sector experience at a senior level, have political nous and have experience of external and internal communications.
Duration: 3 months initially
