Description
A Public Sector client in the North West are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Consultant with experience of operating at Assistant Director or Director Level for an initial 6 month contract (Possible extension)
The Client require the successful consultant to provide management and support in leading the corporate financial services for the organisation and as a result need somebody who can operate at a senior level preferably within a Local government setting.
Key skills and deliverables:
*Previous s151 officer experience highly desirable
*Operated as Assistant Director or Director of Finance for a Council preferable
*Candidate will provide strategic support and leadership across areas of Business Change & Transformation
*Assist with the effective management of financial resources to meet statuary requirements
*Deliver a financial transition plan
*Lead on the financial aspects of key transformational projects
