Interim Press and Social Media Consultant required for a 3-month assignment paying up to £190 per day.

Our client, world -renowned organisation are in need of a talented Press and Social Media Consultant to work within an existing team.

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience of the following:

  • Take a lead for day to day for press and social media activity working with a variety of professional services staff
  • Have strong relationship management capabilities - ability to forge good working relationships with a wide variety of journalists and partners
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the work practices, processes and procedures relevant to the role, such as media campaign planning and horizon scanning, drafting news releases/case studies and 'selling in' to relevant publications/broadcast media, preparing media packs and coverage reports which may include broader sector/commercial awareness
  • Have operational knowledge of systems relevant to own field of work such as using media databases, social media platforms and monitoring tools, distribution software & newswires in terms of functionality and capability and knowledge of products/services available

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

  • News management experience with some knowledge of working within a press office.
  • Client management
  • Delivering results by working constructively with others
  • Strong copywriting skills
