Abriox is a high-tech company that designs and develops monitoring instrumentation for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. With established sales in the UK and though its subsidiary Abriox Inc, in the US, Abriox now wishes to expand into international markets. This project will entail formulating a market strategy to do so - and includes: market and product evaluation, competitor benchmarking, cost/benefit analysis, identification of channels to market.

The aim is to produce a strategy document recommending how Abriox should penetrate the selected international markets. It should include realistic objectives and timescales, costs of investment, barriers/risks to entry and the potential returns to be gained.

This project is well suited to an MBA or recent business school graduate seeking experience in industry.

Computer literacy is required. Language abilities, while useful for some potential markets, are less important than a clear and concise (written and verbal) English style. An interest in, or experience of, technology will be beneficial in order to understand the Abriox products.

It is expected that the project will be completed within 6 months.
