Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable success.
Education/Experience: Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent). Progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.
Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools. Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
The Mach 1 Middleware team is responsible for the development of the interfaces between Mach 1 SAP and Legacy systems. Job responsibilities require working closely with Business Process teams to understand business requirements, developing technical specs, coding and unit testing interfaces between Mach 1 and Legacy systems. This position requires interface development utilizing tools like DataStage (IIS) and WBI, as well as the Tidal job scheduling tool. This position requires off-shift and weekend support on a rotational basis for one week at a time, approximately every 7 weeks.
Required: Datastage experience, and Middleware Development and support
Experience
- 2 - 3 years application development experience - self starter with aptitude to learn new technologies

- Strong initiative and accountability.
- Working directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
- Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
- Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
