NK191 IT Application Support Team Lead/IT Project Manager with Mainframe Banking, Brussels
The department that ensures the bank's competitiveness by defining and delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets is looking for an IT applications support team lead with IT project management experience with IT Mainframe application development.
ROLE:
We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager.
You will act as IT Applications Support Team Lead.
You will lead and coach a team of coordinators (first level) and applicative 'solvers' (second level) being internal resources or external contractors. You supervises as well Application Support (Hotline) activities and monitor the progress according to team objectives.
You are responsible for:
* First & second level support of the Production & Pre-Production environments from an applicative perspective.
* Applicative Problem Management
* Planning of People of 2nd & 3rd level support of the whole Division
Your main activities:
- Set priorities, plan and follow-up the work of the team
- Control quality of the deliveries: monthly reporting, Problem Management Requests (PMR's) to be released, creation of relevant documentation
- Control budget forecast and consumption
- Drive/coordinate Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Plan the delivery of bug fixing and ensure quality delivery
- Be the escalation person for any issues of team members
- Be the escalation contact point for internal clients (Business, technical teams..)
- Assess OLA, KPI, Expertise Risk Dashboard, reporting.... (and if required define, implement and follow-up actions)
Profile:
You have:
* Minimum 5 years experience in people management/team leading
* Experience with ITIL processes
* Continuous Improvement mindset
* Very good organization and prioritization skills
* Drive, ability to make things change
* Strong leadership skills to adapt your style according to the situation and to the different stakeholders
* Good business and technical understanding (gained over several application development projects) and the interpersonal skills to influence decisions taken with the sponsors/clients
* Excellent communication skills at all levels, from staff members to senior management level
* Strong negotiation skills, conflict management and influencing skills
