System Dynamics have an urgent requirement for an IT Applications Specialist to owkr on client based project in Dublin city centre.
The proposed candidate must have knowledge of following technical environment:
- Peoplesoft
- Corepay
- Microsoft
- Oracle
- SAP
- Sharepoint
- IVR
- Document management systems
- Case management systems
Responsibilities
Essential duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
provide vision and strategic advice for developing and continually enhancing shared service application delivery;
recommend, using knowledge of the latest shared service technologies and solutions, effective solution approaches that enhance the business services;
devise the overall applications architecture required to support the longer-term business requirements of shared services for consideration by management;
work with stakeholders to identify technology impacts of proposals/strategies relating to shared services and provide an assessment of alternative options;
combine an analysis of business processes and an understanding of technology capabilities to advise on effective application solutions;
develop in conjunction with business owners costed strategic application proposals for consideration by internal ICT expertise and management;
work with solutions architect (s) to ensure that solutions are scalable and resilient;
develop and advise on policies, standards and guidelines on the deployment of IT solutions and systems in a shared service environment;
provide and maintain a single source of consistent information on all IT services delivered by the shared service centre/shared services programme;
work with IT Solutions Development to develop procedures for the seamless and coordinated transition of solutions into the live service environment;
oversee robust delivery of application support services and enhancements; and
Skills, Experience & Knowledge of Candidate
a degree in business administration, information systems, computer science or related subject required (Advanced degree desirable) (required);
professional qualifications and industry certifications advantageous;
a minimum of ten years' experience required, including at least five years at a senior level
(required);
experience of at least three years providing applications expertise in a multi-disciplinary shared services environment (required);
experience of at least three years advising senior management on relevant technical requirements (required);
knowledge and familiarity with the latest shared service technologies and solutions (required);
a knowledge of (i) public sector and (ii) shared service business environments;
