My client, a well-established and progressive organisation in the Southwest area is looking for an experienced IT Applications Team Lead to lead a project team working on a system update and data migration project.
Job Title: IT Applications Team Lead
Location: Remote (occasional site visits may be required in Dorset/Devon)
Duration: 6 months initially (possibility of extension)
Dates: October 2021 - March 2022
Rate: £375 - £400 per day
Duties:
- Leading a project-based team of x7 staff working on the delivery of a system migration
- Making technical decisions based on the progress and requirements of the project
- Acting as an influential, supportive and motivational leader of the team
- Prioritising workload and making project management decision to keep the project on track
- Focusing on Service Delivery and Change Management required for successful project delivery
Skillset:
- Extensive experience of managing a project team and delivering ICT based projects is an essential requirement
- Project Management skills and qualifications will be crucial to be able to perform this role
- Background in data migration and system integration/change project will be ideal
- Providing guidance, motivation and effective leadership skills'
- Previous or current UK Security Clearance will be highly beneficial
