An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client based in Leatherhead, Surrey. We are looking for an analyst who has previous experience working with IT Assets and Procurement for an initial 6 month contract with the potential for long term extensions. Our ideal candidate will have ideally worked within an Asset and Procurement team and be familiar with the life cycles of both IT Asset and Procurement.
These will include:
- Control of all IT Procurement (order - invoice) ensuring all procedures/processes are followed
- Ordering hardware/software from 3rd party vendors ensuring items are logged correctly on the asset register
- Software License Management
- Reporting/Auditing (Hardware/Software)
- IT Recharges (Monthly)
- Invoice Process
- Ensuring SLA's/KPI's are met
- Monthly Reporting to Senior Management
Key skills/experience required for this role:
- Customer/End User Management experience
- Strong understanding of Procurement and Asset management in an IT environment
- At least 2 years experience working in a procurement/asset environment
- Well versed with MS Office applications with a strong emphasis on MS Excel
- Ability to work with (and manage) 3rd party service providers
- Ability top manage time effectively and prioritising calls where appropriate
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a demanding/fast paced environment
