IT Audit
The key requirements include strong IT Audit experience (particularly if in infrastructure projects) and you must be CISA qualified.
This is with a large Bank, based in Dublin. An initial 6 month daily rate contract, this is likely to extend in 6 month terms for 2 years+.
You will be an experienced IT Auditor, reporting directly to Principal IT Audit Manager. You will get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of IT, integrated and change/project audits, for example; Infrastructure change and data warehouse projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum professional qualification requirement is to have CISA
- Candidates with additional CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, PMBoK, Prince2, or IIA qualifications will have a distinct advantage
Experience:
- 3+ years IT Audit experience (with two years as a lead auditor)
- Experience working within an IT team is advantageous
- Preferred professional experience includes banking, other financial services, or a recognized IT consulting or public accounting firm
- Knowledge of IT audit methodologies, tools and techniques required
- Practical experience using control frameworks including COBIT, ISO27001 etc.
- Experience should include working in a number of the below areas:

* IT Infrastructure
* Applications
* IT Projects - Practical experience working with three or more of the following:
* Mainframe
* Tandem
* Network Security
* Virtualised Environment
* Servers (Windows, Unix)
* Active Directory
* Novell
* Databases (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, IMS)
* Middleware (Webshere, MQ)
* Firewalls
* Routers
* Switches
The Role:
- Lead and participate in throughout the planning, execution and reporting phases on IT, integrated and change/project audits
- Identify deficiencies and underlying issues
- Provide practical, value-added recommendations
