Job Description: IT Operations Data Centre
The Global DC IT OPS Team provides break-fix services across the production data centre network. This service requires an IT Operations member to help lead and support a team of IT OPS in a regional geography to provide a well-defined, well-governed, high quality regional service in alignment with the global service.
Maintaining the fleet requires the IT OPS member to monitor, react, respond, troubleshoot, and fix issues across various tools and database Servers. This includes (but is not limited to) IBM IWS Server, BMS monitoring, maintenance of datacentre. This also includes various roles and responsibilities within the datacentre.
Responsibilities:
Report to IT OPS Manager and perform assigned operations management for the regions Responsible for service delivery within regions and team performance to SLAs and KPIs.
Proactively suggests opportunities for process improvements. Maintains documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
should have a good hand in Service now tool to manage Changes, Incidents and Request.
Manages datacentre and ready to work in 24/7 work environment.
Manages escalation process and escalates issues to the concerned teams as required.
Manages and lias between multiple team and drag the issue towards resolution.
Run the multiple predefined jobs in IBM IWS database server requested by teams and Monitor the workload
Experience:
4+ years of DC experience 2+ years of people and service management experience
Skills:
Experience with IBM IWS Database and Mainframe technology and Windows Servers would be preferable.
Strong working knowledge in Datacentre environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems, tools, and creative problem-solving abilities under pressure.
