DESCRIPTIONThe IT Project Manager will identify and develop a technique to sandbox Embedded applications to securely protect the Kernel from misbehaving customer applications.
Responsibilities:
- Create a rich set of SDKs for Java, C++, C#, (Mono.NET), HTML5, and JavaScript.
- Develop WiFi Linux driver for TI Wavelink 7.0 - WL1238 system on a chip. This driver needs to be ported to Linux or a new one identified from the open source community.
- Bring up new HW Linux platforms and to tune up the Linux Embedded OS for performance.
- Evaluate and adopt a network security layer TLS version 1.1 or higher and place the Linux platform in a good position to be FIPS 140 compliant.
- Guide and provide day to day advice and hands on support to the RFID division team on any Linux related tasks.
- Serve as a mentor in all aspects related to Linux.
- Define APIs and SDKs for Embedded application development.
- Minimum ten (10) years of Linux development preferred/At least five (5) years of Linux experience with Kernel Internals knowledge required.
- Must be familiar with the following security concepts: application sandboxing techniques; Open SSL and TLS v1.0, 1.1, 1.2; and FIPS 140-2.
- Must have experience with WiFi (802.11) drivers.
- Experience with defining APIs and SDKs (software development kits) for Embedded application development a must.
Minimum ten (10) years of Linux development preferred/At least five (5) years of Linux experience with Kernel Internals knowledge, Familiarity with application sandboxing techniques; Open SSL and TLS v1.0, 1.1, 1.2; and FIPS 140-2, Experience with WiFi (802.11) drivers, Experience with defining APIs and SDKs.
