IT Project Manager (MES Rollout) - German Speaking - Hybrid/Europe - ASAP Start - 3 months initial - 12+ month ext
Key Requirements
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, leading complex, large-scale MES implementations and rollouts from initiation through to go-live.
- Strong track record of delivering end-to-end IT projects on time and within budget, managing scope, resources, milestones, risks and dependencies.
- Demonstrable experience leading multi-site MES rollouts, ideally involving Siemens Opcenter or comparable MES platforms, without requiring deep technical expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder, vendor and cross-functional team management, coordinating IT, manufacturing, business teams and external implementation partners.
- Strong expertise in project governance, change management and business readiness, ensuring successful deployment, user adoption and operational transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale MES implementations and rollouts, ensuring projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, scope and quality standards.
- Own project planning, budget management, resource allocation and delivery milestones, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate internal IT teams, manufacturing stakeholders, business functions and external vendors, ensuring alignment and accountability throughout delivery.
- Drive project governance, stakeholder communication and change management, including senior leadership reporting, business readiness and organisational adoption.
- Oversee testing, deployment, cutover, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation, ensuring successful rollout and minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
