Description
The purpose of this role is to act as Technical Authority for the Identification, mitigation and escalation of technical operational risks to key stakeholders. You will ensure that Project Delivery Architects have identified technical operational risks and mitigated appropriately and provide operational sign off at appropriate governance boards and technical reviews. You will undertake technical review and approval of Test Strategies from an operational perspective for Projects deemed High Risk. You will understand and advise on the appropriate use and supportability of existing and emerging technologies and be responsible for the creation, communication and education regarding Operational standards, policies and requirements and sign off key architecture and engineering artefacts from an operational perspective. You will also provide timely operational architecture input into solution designs and ensure that lessons learned from live service issues are applied to the project pipeline or live services as applicable.
Proven Architectural experience gained in multiple environments, industries and technologies across the full delivery life cycle are more important than detailed technical skills with a particular technology. You should have the ability to govern and assure the technical delivery of highly complex implementations and be able to think strategically at an Enterprise level. You should have assertiveness in dealing with people at all organisational levels, including 3rd parties, while building and sustaining collaborative working relationships.
