Our client, a major Federal Government Department, is seeking IT Solutions Architect joins them to work on:
The Work Includes:
1. In conjunction with the Senior Solution Architect and System Engineering Manager:
2. Realise the solution strategy for the Passport Redevelopment Program.
3. Undertake design and design assurance activities for the Passport Redevelopment Program,as required, act as the Design authority for the PRP, liaising with the Enterprise Architects, Business Managers and contracted third parties to review and approve Program deliverables.
4. Maintain a repository for design and methodology documents Where required provide technical and design guidance in relation to the PRP System Engineering Life Cycle and specific system capabilities such as on-line, workflow and bio metrics.
5. Participate in market testing activities to gain market knowledge including potential solution insights, and emerging market direction and methods.
To be considered for the position you will have:
1.Demonstrated minimum 5 years experience as a solution architect.
2.In-depth understanding of the application of Information Technology in a business context.
3.Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Business system assurance and governance, architectural patterns and principles, methods and frameworks.
- large client facing business solutions comprising on line client channels, work flow solutions and analytic tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of biometrics and identity management design principles;
- Experience in vendor relationship management
- Security Clearances - Applicants must be able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance.
