IT Technical DirectorWe are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for an IT Technical Director to join their business in Western Europe (i.e. Germany, UK, Spain, Belgium, etc).

Requirements
- Early involvement in pre sale stage of IT project, be responsible for the solution deliverable assessment
- Be responsible for the IT integration project delivery stage, lead the technical team to do the design, implement, commission, test and acceptance
- Customer communication and requirement control, ensure our solution can meet customer's requirement
- Technical team management and technical risk control
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in an expert or senior serving role in large IT projects (Cloud > 500 VM or DC Consolidation > 200 servers)
- Extensive experience in IT/Cloud Architecture Integration Experience
i. DC Management & Orchestration, Architectural knowledge of orchestration/virtualization tools and concepts: Openstack, Vmware Vcenter hands-on experience
ii. Cloud integration: Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud
iii. IT Infrastructure Integration: Network & Security, Storage & Backup, OS, Database
iv. Familiar with Operator’s Applications is preferred : OSS, BSS, CRM, ERP, OA etc
v. Familiar with Operator’s Architectures is preferred : ITIL, eTom
b. DC Consolidation and Migration Methodology and Experience
i. DC Consolidation plan and wave design experiences
ii. Application migration
iii. System Migration: P2V, V2V, Unix to X86.
iv. Data/Database Migration: Oracle, DB2, MySQL, SQL Server migrate to each other.
v. Storage Migration: EMC, NetApp, HP, HDS migrate to each other
- Proven customer and high level communication skills, at the CXO level
- Flexible to travel up to 50% within WEU
